Words don’t be begin to describe the rage I feel (together with other mothers) at your picture of a child of 14, Zachary Neagle is shackled and your headline “father killer”. What about “molester father killed by abused son?” It is not as though you are looking for sales since your paper is free. The words you use show the side you are on as do mine.
I call upon mothers everywhere, rise up in solidarity against such injustice committed in the name of democracy and development and yes, creating work for professionals. God knows the amount of tax payers money paid to professionals to put together the case of Fritz the Austrian who abused his daughter for 27 years. Today, he sits well fed and medically cared for in comfort, without a care in the world, while his welfare is provided from the proceeds of tax payers struggling in this global financial downturn. Is it a coincidence the child molester Zackary’s father worked out life would be easier same as Fritz? Perhaps the media is miffed at Zachary who rid the world of a molester monster too soon, didn’t play the game according to script, thus depriving the circus of professionals the pictured in shackles with the offending label. This is monstrous. Today the British are in Afghanistan and Iraq and Pakistan, justifying the soldiers deaths as ‘killing the bad guys’ to create a safe world for others. Will Zachary’s molester father attack any more? And what of Fritz the Austrian father, who’s daughter was not “a father killer”. Didn’t he go on to molest for 27 years? Do we even begin to understand the trauma to the family - life after court? Which is more evil?
I call on all mothers everywhere to show solidarity with ‘our son’ Zachary. Hilary Clinton, Cherie Blair, your struggles to champion the rights of children, the disadvantaged and vulnerable are well documented. We mothers (and we are the majority) will rally behind you to see that Zachary is treated, as the child that he is.
Someone, please create a website behind which we mothers (and non-molester fathers) will campaign. Also those individuals molested and abused in the last 70 years according to the Child Abuse Commission report. Your participation will not right a wrong, but it will help Zachary case. and hopefully children intimidated by their parents might pick confidence to enable us combat – what the media glamourises as the ‘industry of paedophilia’
