Letter to South Africa on the issue of refugees from neighbouring countries

Please Africans! Mandela is still amongst us –consult him! many of you believe in God. Don’t fight one another – non is a foreigner. We are all sons of the soil and foreign-ness was imposed – by boundaries artificially demarcated by the white colonialists – for the purpose to make their work of containing Blacks in blocks they could manage.This is what Do you know what is happening to blacks in Europe? They have broken down the barriers and all white from one country to the next walk freely, work where they find work without hindrance. It is not right. We are all God’s creations. We will stand before him. Can you stretch your imaginations? Stare in the faces of our ancestors and have conversations with them and justify your actions to them! None wilt take even an inch of the space you fight to deny brothers and sisters who have come in search of refuge. We all go back where we came from with non of the things that you value.. Since man walked the earth, we have moved this way and that way. This is trial – how are you handling what you perceive as obstacle?
You have no idea what your end will be. We are born and we die. No one is going to change that no matter what we materially achieve. Black people travelled from the south to the horn before. They had wrangles but they did not keep one another out. We all have the same stories from our ancestors. Our names and languages are testimony fy to this. Educate yourselves. whites laugh at us. Blacks who have experienced suffering at the hands of whites – what do we think of them? A New York talk show aired a programme to the effect we blacks don’t read. We prove them right every single time. If we didn’t, we would not fight among ourselves. people you consider different cultures come with a wealth of differentness and ideas, and ways of life that can often enrich. This is what has happened to promte the development in the west. The west has developed mainly as a consequence of diverse cultures they shipped into their world, blacks included. white people learned from them music – dance, astronomy, sciences even as they despised us. Fellow Africans, read read, reading what matters, not trashy propaganda prepared and fed us by the western intelligentsia to prevent Russia’s ideology to spread. Read books such as Blood and Blues detailing how Harriet Tubman an escaped slave helped others, Martin Luther King’s works, there is no scarcity of books or experiences of suffering blacks to help remind you least you forget.. Speak in the 18th century wrote in his journal, “How the Negro has lived so many ages without advancing seems marvellous, when all the countries surrounding Africa are so forward in comparison, and judging from the progressive state of the worls, one is led to suppose that the African must either step out from his darkness, or be superseded by a being superior to himself. As did his father so does he. He works his wife, sells his children, enslaves all he can lay hands upon, and unless when fighting for the property of others, contents himself with drinking, singing, and dancing like a baboon, to drive dull care away.” If we are to disprove in the 21st century Speke’s analysis of us, we have to demonstrate we have the power to challenge a dead man’s analysis of blacks. Let the actions we take be a demonstration. According to a journalist, the Queen of England reminds herself everyday by hanging where she can see three things led to the downfall of the Roman empire. An astute Caucasian (on a New York talk show) analysed three things that help contain Blacks.. I suggest we hang them where we can see them everyday to help us remember ad does the Queen. These are IGNORANCE (failure to read consistently) GREED and SELFISHNESS.
