Connecting women of colour online

I don't know if this is the right place to discuss, but...
I am looking for a relatively 'good' off the shelf, high-street skin care regime; cleanser, moisturiser, eye cream. It should be suitable for sensitive, dry 'black' skin. I've just tried, to my financial detriment, Olay's Total Effects range and it didn't suit me. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hey Jen,
have you tried Clarins? Head to Selfridges and ask for a consultation.

I agree with Foluke in terms of Clarins because that's what works for me. However, I didn't just start using it out of the blue, I went to Selfridges (but you can go to any department store) and asked for samples and demos from most of the brands. They all have samples and are happy to demonstrate the product. Take them home and see what works best for your skin type then when you're happy, you can make your purchase.

It may take a while to try them all as you need to give each brand it's own period of time to try it but once you find something that works, it will be worth the wait.

Good luck

Thanks haven't been to the site your suggested as Yet. Tried clarins samples, didn't work for me. I found them to be too drying. Until I try the site I will go back to some home-made stuff - manuka honey and oatmeal...
Thank you.
